Environmentalist Recycles Forest Restoration Petition
Humboldt, CAThis week, it has come to our attention that an important part of legislative support was recycled in error. Theo Walters, who resides in Humboldt County, California accidentally recycled a petition to limit the amount of clear-cutting done in the surrounding area. Walters, an active member of the Sierra Club and supporter of the Green Party was doing more than his share of saving the environment by tossing this petition into the recycling bin. "At first I couldn't believe it" said Walters. "I was like, whoa, no way I did that. That's a trip. I regret throwing that paper in the recycling, but it's good to know I'm helping out the environment". The petition to save the forests of Humboldt county was signed by over one thousand supporters. When news hit the area that the papers had been lost, people were enraged at the carelessness of Walters. One person, who wished to remain anonymous, had this to say: "That guy's a total idiot. I'm pretty convinced that hippy son of a bitch is constantly smoking those funny cigarettes".
That statement is not far from the truth. Walters is currently under review with the Sierra Club for allegedly lighting up a "doobie" during an outdoor forest fire damage evaluation. He also thought that in joining the Green Party, he'd be partaking in "the green". When asked to comment, Walters proceeded to speak nonsense about the moon, stars and Jerry Garcia.
