Man Absentmindedly Sings Along with Muzak
Minneapolis, MN
Bad Singer
Mall Shopper, Evan Trunsfield, was caught in the act of singing along to Mall Muzak while shopping for a birthday present for his wife.

"I had no idea what I was thinking" said Trunsfield, "I guess I had some sort of impulse to sing along with the tunes" referring to the Muzak version of 'Make me up before you Go-Go'.

When a version of 'Private Eyes' came on, with the oboe handling the vocal melody, Trunsfield began pooching his lips and clapping along, prompting mothers to hold their children close to them.

The singing became unbearable and some shoppers began to complain. "My God, does that man have any clue that he was singing at the top of his lungs?" said a fellow Mall Shopper. "I'm no music critic, but he's got an awful voice"

It wasn't until Trunsfield busted into a chorus of 'We're an American Band' that Mall Security had to get involved. He was detained and thrown out of the Mall. "We've had this problem before" said Security Guard Tom Mandela. "The best we can do is to shake them into their senses and give them an audio recording of them so they know just how awful they sound."

Regardless of the confrontation he had with security inside the mall, Trunsfield returned to his car and drove away while singing an out-of-key rendition of 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' coming from his radio.
