Mr. T's Fear of Flying Turns into Morphine AddictionLos Angeles, CA "Hannibo was always shootin' me up jes to git me on tha plane," complained Barracus. This,
apparently, started a downward spiral for B.A. which ended in severe morphine addiction.
"It got to tha point where I was so weak from drugs, that the only people I could throw
were stunt midgets!" continued Barracus from his room at the Betty Ford Clinic.
According to fellow A-Team member Templeton "Faceman" Peck, "BA got so bad that he was trying to convince us to take plane trips just so he could get a fix." After a full season of episodes consisting of flying missions, enough was enough and the A-Team crew needed to confront T about his habit. Captain H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock, who took part in the intervention, had this to say: "We all sat down in the back of the van and told B.A. how much we care about him. When we got to the issue of his drug abuse, he began trying to throw everyone. He only succeeded in passing out from the effort." At that time, Col. Decker and his phalanx of incompetent MP's came tearing down the road towards the "Team". They were forced to give B.A. a "spike" in order to wake him up, since he was the only one able to jump the van across a nearby ravine.
Mr. T is back on the road to recovery by beginning a rehabilitation treatment of drinking
plenty of Milk and staying in School.
