"Idea Helmet" Fails Initial TrialHamburg, PA Eccentric moron Hank Funtnell reached a new level of idiocy Monday when he donned his latest creation, the so-called "Idea Helmet." The invention consists of a lamp cord stripped of its insulation and wound inside a construction helmet. A light bulb is screwed into the top of the helmet.
Funtnell went on to give a demonstration of the device: "It's a well known fact that the human mind works on the basis of electric pulses. And it is also a well-known fact that ideas are accompanied by a light bulb above the head..." Hank explained as he donned the helmet and knelt down to plug it in. "With this invention, not only will there be a steady current of idea-bringing electricity to the brain, but there will also be the requisite light bulb. The result? Everlasting enlightenment..."
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday.
