Man Catches Brown Trout in Shit Creek
Bethel, CT
Smells Shitty
This Season, if you find yourself up Shit Creek, you may be pleasantly surprised at the results. It seems that this unattractive body of water is a new haven for fishermen willing to test the troubled waters of years past. It seems the fish are biting up Shit Creek, folks, and they are practically begging to be pursued.

Local fisherman Earl Hackett tested his luck up Shit Creek and he fared pretty well catching the biggest Brown Trout of the season. "I was expecting more of a fight to be honest with you, but it seemed to reel in nice and smooth-like" said Hackett. "I was told that the brown trout will typically struggle for up to an hour... This fish, which measured at around 10 inches, just sorta floated past the boat. Why, I just reached in and grabbed 'im up like. And it's a delicate fish as well. If ya handle it too roughly, it may just crumble into bits."

Hackett expressed his dislike for being up Shit Creek. "I've never liked being up Shit Creek. It always gives me this spooky feeling that people are watching me with evil eyes and I feel like I'm not well-liked when I'm here."

But his feelings towards the creek have changed. "Everyone always talks about how much trouble you can get into when you're up Shit Creek, but my experience was quite pleasant."

"I recommend every fisherman should test the waters up Shit Creek this season. You may be surprised at what you find. If you find yourself up Shit Creek, you're really gonna get it... a fish that is."
