Wacky Headline Suggests Amusing Article Underneath

Premier Internet Spoof News Source - LizardTree.com - posted yet another series of amusing headlines today. As with previous such postings, readers were sure to find zany amusement in the articles therein.

"The key to an amusing headline," explains Jason Hakes, CEO of LizardTree, LLC, "is to make it short and funny... and to capitalize all the words."

"The difficult part," rambles contributing editor Matt Edelman "is following up and actually writing four or five coherent paragraphs that live up to the humorous nature of the headline. To be honest, I usually give up after a couple of sentences."

"We've found that before the closing lines of a story," Hakes says "we try to involve the five key elements of comedy: poop, farts, crotches, butts and boobs. On occasion, if that doesn't suit the article, we'll just make fun of nerds or old people."

Even with all of the serious challenges, sweat and dedication that go into crafting each article, LizardTree plans on providing all the news that's not news for some time into the future. "Probably until at least October" says Hakes. "At that point I expect that Microsoft will want to buy a controlling interest in LizardTree and feed us to Bill Gates' piranhas."

"Piranhas..." echoed Edelman "That's funny."
