Editorial: I'm Going To Radio Shack!
Hey Now Editorial -- Matt

Oh what an awful day of work it's been! Work! Work! Work! It's all I can do to keep from going crazy. When things were at their worst, I just closed my eyes and thought of those two special-ordered integrated circuits that I am going to pick up at Radio Shack after work.

Nothing can stroke away the stresses of the day like a trip to Radio Shack. Whether I'm out of solder, or I need a 470 Ohm resistor, it is my oasis of order in a world of chaos.

As I'm driving towards Radio Shack, I can feel the tightness in my shoulders lessening. As I walk into the store, past the remote control toys and cellular phone displays, into the back (what I call Matt's World), I experience sheer bliss. I think this is what certain cultures call Nirvana.

Phil, the 45 year old who still lives with his mother, greets me by name, and asks me if I would like to peruse the new shipment of light-emitting diodes. I answer that I would. Ah, I am home...

I'd go on, but I doubt you'd understand, but believe me folks, Radio Shack cures what ails me. It truly is my home away from home.

End Transmission
